What is the Ada Engine?
The Ada Engine is the AI development platform included in every Cool Cloud. It gives you a web dashboard to manage your projects, AI coding agents that build features and fix bugs, automated testing that catches problems before they ship, and one-click production deployments. It's your entire development workflow — automated.
What can the AI agents actually build?
The AI agents (Claude, Codex, Gemini) work on real codebases — full-stack apps with backends, frontends, and databases. You describe what you want in plain language, and the agent writes the code, runs the project, and tests the changes. It handles everything from new features to bug fixes to refactors.
What is Deep Ram?
Deep Ram is Cool Cloud's three-layer memory system. It combines high-speed physical RAM, compressed memory, and NVMe overflow into one seamless pool — turning 16 GiB into ~30 GiB effective, 32 GiB into ~58 GiB, and 64 GiB into ~112 GiB. More Deep Ram means more projects and more AI agents working simultaneously. You don't configure it — it's automatic.
How fast can I spin up a new project?
Minutes. From the Ada Engine dashboard, you create a new project, and it automatically sets up a backend (FastAPI), frontend (Next.js), database (PostgreSQL), and scheduler — all containerized and routed with a custom domain. Then you point an AI agent at it and start building.
How many projects can I really run?
Our project numbers are based on live measurements from real Ada Engine workloads, not estimates. The Small plan handles ~10 projects, Medium ~25, and Large 30+. Each full-stack project uses about 400 MB. We've tested every tier with real AI coding sessions running in parallel to make sure the numbers hold up.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrade your Cool Cloud at any time without losing data, projects, or AI session history. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.
Is this just a VPS with extra steps?
No. A VPS is a blank server. Cool Cloud is a pre-configured AI development platform. The Ada Engine, Deep Ram optimization, automated testing, production deployments, project management, and AI coding sessions are all built in and ready the moment your cloud spins up.
